Okay, we'll admit it. We're not big on waiting. We want our treats, and we want them NOW.
And we believe our customers should get their goodies quickly, too. It's simple, really: deTerra products are all held in stock and our team are a well-oiled machine. And once your bits and bobs are ready for dispatch we've got our own in-house delivery fleet on hand to whiz the products to you.
When can I get my stuff?
- Kitchen units (with frontals / drawers painted in one of our 'Top Picks'): can be delivered within 10 working days from point of purchase.
- Kitchen units (with frontals / drawers painted in bespoke colours): can be delivered within 15 working days from point of purchase.
- Kitchen units (no frontals/drawers): can be delivered within 7 working days from point of purchase.
- Worktops: can be delivered on a next-day service (please order by 12 noon the day before delivery is required).
- Samples and accessories: can be delivered on a next-day service (please order by 12 noon the day before delivery is required). If you provide your details, we'll let you know the driver's name via SMS or email along with your 1 hour delivery time slot.
Please note that the lead-times detailed above are subject to address confirmation and stock availability, and do not apply to bespoke items.
deTerra delivery options
Our own delivery service visits the majority of England & Wales every day (Monday - Friday only), and is a premium two-man service (to save you any bothersome unloading and lifting). We'll give you a two-hour timeslot on the day of your choosing and a courtesy call thirty minutes before, so you'll have just enough time to nip back from the shops or finish that cup of tea before the deTerra team turn up.
If you're looking for a Saturday delivery, our drivers can also deliver on Saturdays between 7am and 3pm. This one-man service offers many of the benefits of our two-man option, though assistance will be required from a capable customer to offload the goods. This service isn't available in all locations; view the list of postcodes we cover with our one-man Saturday service.
Please note that our two-man delivery service does not cover the whole of the UK. If you get to the checkout and it says we're unable to deliver to your address, give us a call and we can have a look into alternative options for you.
Receiving your stuff
Our own one and two man teams will deliver your goods to the ground floor room of choosing (although our one man service will need some help!), so make sure their path to the room is clear of any obstructions (and please note that we can't carry items up or down stairs - against 'ealth and safety regulations, we're afraid).
If you decide to take advantage of our cabinet assembly service, please make sure that access route is clear, and that fragile items have been moved well out of the way. Pre-built cabinets are rather bulky and we don't want any family air looms getting damaged.
Checking your stuff
Goods should be inspected upon receipt before signing the docs: give everything a good ol' checking over and then, when you're happy, ink up a storm. If you feel that the packaging or goods are damaged in any way (it happens very rarely, but just in case), please sign to say that the items are 'damaged' and complete a damage report with the driver if required. Don't sign for items as 'clear' 'received in good condition' or 'unchecked' if you aren't satisfied that this is accurate. And if you have a kindly neighbour or a couple of friends filling in for you, make sure they are aware of this info as they will need to sign on your behalf!
Be sure to send the deTerra team a wee email within 24 hours to inform us of any damage; if items are missing, please let us know within two working days. Failure to comply with the conditions listed above may result in a void claim.
Sorry to say that size does matter when it comes to order charges- but don't worry, we'll keep the costs down where we can! Delivery prices (which start at £10.00 for small orders to the UK mainland) will be calculated and displayed for you during online checkout. Certain areas - such as the Scottish Highlands - may be subject to surcharges, but never fear, we'll never simply whack this on without telling you. If your order is subject to any kind of additional charge (unlikely though this may be), we'll contact you after purchase to discuss this with you.
